This Kabir Mandir was established by Mahant Mahi Dass and with the passage of time, when some of the inhabitants started shifting to nearby habitations, the Mandir was abandoned and soon acquired a dilapidated state with crumbling vestiges. it is said to be one of the first “Kabir Mandir” in Mauritius.
