The Guru Purnima Mahotsav 2025 was celebrated with deep devotion and joy, uniting members of the Kabirpanthi community and the wider spiritual groups. The programme began with an opening dance by the group of Prakash Neerunjun and a beautiful Gayatri recitation by children, filling the hall with energy and spiritual devotion.
Soul‑stirring bhajans were performed by various Kabirpanthi associations as well as members of the Arya Samaj, Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, Bhakti Marga, and other devotees, creating an atmosphere of harmony and reverence.
A special drama depicting the sacred leelas of Sadguru Kabir Saheb on his Pragat Divas captivated the audience, bringing his divine teachings to life.
The event was graced by our chief guests, Mr. Mahen Gondea, Ministry of Arts and Culture, and Ms. Kamini Acharya, Director of IGCIC, whose presence added honor and encouragement to the celebration.
Launching of the book “Why and What of Kabirpanth”by Sadguru Kabir Federation Publishing Team, along with the Mahants and our chief guests, marking a milestone in spreading knowledge and understanding of Kabirpanthi teachings.
A significant highlight of the day was the launch of KDV‑Mauritius, the first Kabirpanth NGO in Mauritius, by the grace of Panth Shri Uditmuninaam Saheb. During the launch, a national representative was officially appointed (see the official letter), along with regional representatives from each mandir, marking a key step in strengthening Kabirpanthi community organization across Mauritius.
